For 38 years, we focussed exclusively on developing and manufacturing explosion-proof control and signalling devices at our base in Möckmühl.

We have not managed to sell the company or find a successor. Finally, aged 73, we stopped manufacturing our command and signalling devices.

Our warehouse was well stocked but supplies soon sold out, so I’m delighted to be able to share some good news with you:

thuba AG has taken over production of many of our devices and has also updated the relevant certifications. We have worked closely with thuba AG for over 30 years so we can be confident that the equipment will still be manufactured to the same high quality standard.

TPK Kapfer GmbH still exists, but we will concentrate on manufacturing and supplying earth-wire screw terminals and parts for our tools. We look forward to continue supplying you with these in future.
